Starting Point: The journey begins at the Meilin Parking Lot (梅林停车场). You can reach the parking area by car or public transportation.

Segment 1: The hike begins at the steps across from the Meilin Parking Lot (梅林停车场). Follow the signs for the Chuan Dong Ancient Path (川东古道), which will lead you uphill. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful pear blossoms in full bloom, perfect for a photo stop. The first scenic stop is the Orchard Viewing Platform (果园观景平台), where you can take in panoramic views of the city below.

Segment 2: After the viewing platform, the trail continues on the original stone paths of the Chuan Dong Ancient Path (川东古道). This section takes you deeper into the forest, where the air is cooler and refreshing. As you walk, you’ll come to a fork in the path near a welfare institution (福利院). From here, you can choose either path to continue uphill.
